Ronald Hetzke

Graduate engineer (with a degree from a university of applied sciences), architect

After completing his training in 1984, Ronald Hetzke worked for a variety of architectural firms in Germany and abroad. In 1990, he joined Dieter Bock’s company, Advanta Management AG, where he directed the development of the Kempinski Hotel Corvinus in Budapest. Other spectacular projects followed, including the Hotel Adlon in Berlin, the Taschenbergpalais in Dresden and
1 Poultry in London. In his position as member of the board of directors at Advanta Management AG, he played a key role in the company’s strategic merger with the Canadian TrizecHahn Corporation, and as CEO he was in charge of the development of several shopping centers in Germany, Spain and Eastern Europe, with an investment volume of two billion euros.

In 2001, Ronald Hetzke founded his own company, hp developments, with Hanno Schnörr. The company’s main focus is on project development and project management for luxury hotels, including the two Jumeirah Hotels in Majorca and Frankfurt, the comprehensive remodelling of the Hotel Atlantic in Hamburg, the Le Méridien in Hamburg, the The Royal Bavarian 25hours Hotel in Munich and the nhow hotel in the office- and hotel high-rise building ONE in Frankfurt am Main. Among their most important office buildings are the K26, the tenant build-out of the OpernTurm and the Atricom in Frankfurt.
