K.26

High-rise office building at a prominent location in Frankfurt

The K.26 office building was named for its location at Kaiserstraße 26 at the corner of Neue Mainzer Straße. With 20 stories and a height of 75 meters, it may seem small relative to other high-rise office buildings in Frankfurt, but its prominent location and red, natural-stone exterior make it a distinctive urban landmark. Designed by Dieter Köhler in 2004, the K.26 building was erected at the site of an older office building. That building was demolished to its shell and then upgraded, with more floors added.
